The 18,000 square-foot Jones County Civic Center is a multi-purpose facility located outside Trenton on Highway 58 South.  This county owned Civic Center is versatile enough to accommodate all types of entertainment and meetings.

A $300,000 renovation of the large 11,000 square-foot auditorium has been  completed.  A 2,100 square-foot professional stage with four modern dressing rooms with mirrors and private restrooms has been added providing a total stage area of 2,870 square feet.  The auditorium has a professional lighting and sound system including sound boards for any type production.  A 40-ton heating and air conditioning system with sound abatement features in the duct work has been installed providing temperature control for all seasons.  The large auditorium has a seating capacity for 1,000 people and approximately 800 for a dinner event.

The small 3,000 square-foot auditorium has a new public address system, sound boards, and a wireless lite show projector.  The small auditorium seats 225 people for any event requiring the use of tables or 350 people for lectures.  Phone connections and Internet services (wireless or cable) are provided.

The Civic Center has convenient parking space for 250 automobiles and 10 buses.

The Civic Center is available to business and industry, governmental agencies and organizations, schools, and private individuals for  professional and private events, concerts, dances, drama productions, industrial trade shows, and other forms of entertainment.

   * Add $100  to the above if alcohol is to be on the premises.  

If the premises are used for rehearsals, decorating, and the like on days prior to the scheduled event, a fee of 50 percent of the usual daily rate shall be required.   If the premises are needed past the allotted time frame, there will be a $50 charge for each additional hour needed.

*Deposit: An initial deposit of $50 will be required  in order to schedule an event.  This deposit will be in addition to  the entire rental rate for the area requested.  The deposit will be refunded within 30 days after the scheduled event if the rental areas are left in approximately as good condition as when received for use.  If areas used are not left in approximately as good condition as when received, the initial deposit will be applied toward the expense of cleaning and/or repairs or replacement.  Full payment is required within 30 days.  For any event that is canceled less than 10 days prior to the event, no fees will be refunded.  A refund of all fees less deposit will be granted if there is a cancellation prior to the 10th day.

* Deposit will not be refunded if an event is canceled.  Deposit is refunded after the event only if all conditions of the contract are met.
